After this was done the dataset still had many gaps. GIS specialist filled in the gaps by "heads up digitizing", using BLM's 1:100,000 and other scale maps and aerial photography Surface and Sub-Surface maps as a guide. Other source material was used also, like; Master Title Plats, Land Ownership information and survey data. Data may be very accurate in some areas and not so much in others due to collection methods, source materials, and time constraints.
