Service Description:

Created in 2023 by the BLM Iditarod National Historic Trail Program, Anchorage Field Office, based on earlier versions of GIS data from multiple sources, including non-BLM. Represents alignment location data for the historic Iditarod Trail between Seward and Nome, and connecting trails as identified in the Resource Inventory and Comprehensive Management Plan (CMP) development and adoption from the 1980s, and subsequent effort by trail and land managers.
