Description: This data represents the Special Recreation Management Areas (SRMA) within the BLM Tres Rios Field Office as identified in the 2015 Resource Management Plan (RMP). SRMA's are BLM public land areas that require special management due to existing or desired recreational activities that occur there. SRMA's have been identified by the Public as important places for various types of recreation. BLM policy requires that each SRMA have a distinct boundary and map. Some SRMA's are further subdivided into Recreation Management Zones to better manage the variety of uses that may occur in different parts of the SRMA. This dataset iis used within the BLM Colorado Tres Rios Field Office Travel Management Route Inventory web mapping application for reference purposes.
