Description: This theme shows line representation of jurisdictional Bureau of Land Management Resource Area perimeters for Oregon and Washington. Layers are duplicated with symbology changes at the different scale levels. BLM Management areas are contiguous across the United States. The line layer defines the features that form the boundaries.
Purpose: This data set is used for depicting the Resource Area Boundary on maps. Resource Area boundaries are dissolved to form District boundaries. Polygons created from the data are used for various analytical purposes, including clipping data and calculating acreage. Polygons are in the label layers.
