The BLM OR Other National Designations Map Service represents miscellaneous areas that are designated by law, by presidential proclamation, or by an order of the Secretary of the Interior (and not from BLM planning), such as Outstanding Natural Areas within Oregon and Washington. These designations do not fit with the other legislated designations (such as Wilderness, Wild and Scenic Rivers, National Historic Trails, etc.) and are administered in accordance with provisions of the enabling legislation and/or orders.
