Service Description: The BLM OR Wild and Scenic River Corridor Map Service represents designated Wild and Scenic Rivers and Wild and Scenic River Corridors within Oregon and Washington. Congress created the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System in 1968 to preserve certain rivers with outstanding natural, cultural, and recreational values in a free-flowing condition. For more information about the WSR Act, river classification, management, and links to related sites go to https://www.rivers.gov. For a complete description of this data, consult the Wild and Scenic Rivers Spatial Data Standard at: https://www.blm.gov/about/data/oregon-data-management.

The Wild and Scenic River Corridor layer displays at a scale in beyond 1:1,000,001. The Wild and Scenic River layer displays at a scale out beyond 1:1,000,000.
