The BLM OR Recreation Site Map Service represents recreation features under BLM management within Oregon and Washington. The recsite data such as trailheads, dispersed campsites, and interpretive signs are displayed as points and the physical extent of the managed area is displayed as polygons in this dataset. Users should be aware that recsite point and polygon data are not stand alone datasets and must be viewed together to gain an accurate and complete understanding of the recreation sites on the ground. For a complete description of the data, consult the Recreation Sites Spatial Data Standard at https://www.blm.gov/about/data/oregon-data-management.
