The WTHDRWLs dataset represents spatial location, boundaries, and basic information about withdrawal cases. Withdrawals are formal actions that set aside, withhold, or reserve federal lands by statute or administrative order for public purposes. Non-Federal lands can be included within the boundaries of a withdrawal. If title to these non-Federal lands is subsequently acquired by the United States, the lands will be subject to the terms and conditions of the withdrawal. |
