Service Description: The BLM OR Land Tenure Zones (LTZ) Map Service represents LTZ areas on BLM lands as Retention/Acquisition, Exchange, or Disposal of lands under BLM jurisdiction within Oregon and Washington. The LTZ polygons do not identify actual acquisition or disposal actions, but rather the zones of potential land tenure adjustment as determined through the land use planning process. All BLM lands are covered by these zones. For a complete description of the data, consult the Land Tenure Zones Spatial Data Standard at: https://www.blm.gov/about/data/oregon-data-management.
The BLM OR Land Tenure Zones (LTZ) Map Service is created from land_tenure_zones_pub.gdb\ltz_pub_poly. This map service has scale dependencies. The Current Land Tenure Zones greater than 1:500,000 layer are displayed (symbolized with no outline) out beyond 1:500,000. The Current Land Tenure Zones less than 1:500,000 layer are displayed (symbolized with an outline) in beyond 1:500,000. Labels for the Current Land Tenure Zones less than 1:500,000 layer display at a scale in beyond 1:100,000.
