Service Description: The BLM OR Mechanical Treatments Map Service represents completed mechanical treatments on BLM managed lands within Oregon and Washington. Mechanical treatments include "Cut-Leave" of trees, soil preparation such as plowing or ripping, machine and manual methods of area treatment as well as pulling, piling, chopping, grinding, or mowing treatments to consolidate, reduce or clear live or dead vegetation (might be grass, brush, small trees, stump removal). For a complete description of the data, consult the Treatments Spatial Data Standard at: https://www.blm.gov/about/data/oregon-data-management.
The BLM OR Mechanical Treatments Map Service is created from treatment_pub_web.gdb\mech_poly. This map service has scale dependencies. The BLM OR Mechanical Treatment’s layers (Cutting Trees and Shrubs, Fuel Reduction, Site Preparation, and Pruning) are visible in beyond a scale of 1:1,000,001.
