The BLM OR Water Map Service represents area, flowline, point and waterbody features from the US Geologic Survey (USGS) High Resolution National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) within Oregon and Washington. NHD Area features show polygon representations of ocean, rivers, dams, etc. NHD Flowline features are linear depictions of streams and centerlines of rivers, canals, etc. NHD point features include springs, seeps, etc. NHD waterbody features include polygons depicting lakes, ponds, swamps, etc. Additional attributes have been added from the BLM Aquatic Resources Information Management System (ARIMS). The BLM OR Water Map Service is a cached Map Service. Due to the infrequent updates to the base data, the cache will be refreshed as needed. |
