The BLM OR Subsurface Rights map service is intended to support land-use planning, watershed analysis, project planning as well as the subsurface and resource management process for BLM managed lands. For a complete description of the data, consult the Public Land Survey System (PLSS), Surface and Subsurface Status Spatial Data Standard at: https://www.blm.gov/about/data/oregon-data-management.
The BLM OR Subsurface Rights map service is created from land_lines.gdb\SUBSURFACE_RIGHTS_POLY. This map service has scale dependencies. The Subsurface Rights Poly displays at a scale in beyond 1:1,000,001. Labels for the Subsurface Rights Poly layer display at a scale in beyond 1:45,001.
