Service Description: The BLM OR Fire Water Source Map Service represents sources of water for fire management purposes that are accessible by engines, water tenders, pumps, or helicopter buckets within Oregon and Washington. Water sources that are identified are judged to be usable during the period of a normal fire season. This theme does not depict water for uses other than firefighting. For example, potable water is not identified in this theme. For a complete description of this data consult the Fire Water Source Spatial Data Standard located at: https://www.blm.gov/about/data/oregon-data-management.
